•THREAD-JACKING: Provided something isn't specifically marked as private or locked, it's cool.
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: This one requires discussion. Nida's a very minor NPC in the game he's in so someone would have to be SUPER aware of it to really put him together with that pile of pixels. But I will discuss it.
If by some chance you've somehow managed to have a character who has interacted with another Nida there is supposedly another one somewhere in the depths of dw you could recognize Nida, but don't expect that returned. If you've met THIS Nida in another thing like a BS or a PSL, you can also recognize, but that is definitely an AU Nida and he won't know you and definitely won't like that you know him.
•BACKTAGGING: Forever and a day. Backtags are the gift that keep on giving. You sometimes have real life, and that's totally understood. I'm patient as hell and have had PSLs where we took a break for a year due to personal things and came back happily. Life is like that.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: Nothing that I can think of. I may be slower on certain topics because of the heaviness of them. If something comes up, I will tell you.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her
•OTHER: I’m in US Central time zone. Tagging can be fast. However don't feel burdened to just tag at my pace. I'm a laid back person. I just get excited to respond.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: This is perfectly okay, and VERY likely to get Nida pissed off. He doesn't even want to be in his own head, get out of there. Poke me and I'll make sure to put in more thoughts and impressions, or I can tell you what dark things you dig up. Because there are VERY dark things.
•VIOLENCE: Go for it. But before we do I'd appreciate anything that might be a SERIOUS confrontation be discussed OOC. More to get an idea of who is most likely to win, or if we just want to wing it. Nida is a highly trained mercenary who has been working with his weapon of choice for more than half of his life. If he has a polearm in hand he's an absolutely deadly force, given he's slain dragons and worked as a spy and assassin. It's not going to be an easy fight which is why I would want to discuss the generals of who wins and what injuries, if any, are gained.
•MAGIC: By all means. Magic is a pretty common thing in Nida's work, and he's dating a very powerful witch. At the moment he can't respond in kind, as much as he'd want to. But by fair warning, a lot of Nida's world has been repeatedly messed up by Sorceresses, and SeeD was created to put Sorceresses down if they got out of hand. So if using magic on him and letting it run away from your character's control, Nida's instinct might be a bit more violent than most.
•AFFECTIONATE PHYSICAL CONTACT: Yes, please. Seriously. Nida's learning to get used to this, especially from non-romantic sources. Which isn't to say that romantic attention isn't welcomed, he just won't return it. He's very devoted to his boyfriend. And he's VERY gay. So there's that. Still, he is often left unsure of what to do with a hug or people leaning on him or gentle hands on his shoulder. Expect him to be very awkward. But he needs these things to adjust so I encourage it, completely unprovoked. Leave him cringy please.
•NOTES and WARNINGS: All comments on this are screened, so please, feel free to opt-out of certain things, or out of Nida. Because there's a thing with Nida. He's been through a lot, as part of his spy work he has killed in 'cold blood', he watched his family be murdered, and he's murdered a lover before because it's the 'right' thing. Nida often has some serious internal issues with memories of some stuff and the trauma that comes with the question of whether he did the right thing or if he's just a monster playing at being a person.
